See Capacity of World's Largest USB Flash Drive

I guess the sizes of USB flash drives you've come in contact with range from 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, 16GB and so on. Probably the highest being 128GB of which you prolly never seen.
If you are from the second millennial, this probably won’t surprise you but for those belonging to the age of the first generation windows OS computers, this would really awe them.

From using those 3½-inch Floppy disks which store data of up to 1.44MB, we have advanced to storing a whopping 2TB on a single finger sized USB stick.

Kingston recently unveiled a new pen-drive which can hold up to 2TeraByte(TB) data.
The Micro-SD card and USB pen-drive manufacturer, unveiled the new 2TB Data-Traveler Ultimate GT flash drive. The USB flash drive, offers 2TB of storage space, which is accompanied by a USB 3.1 Gen 1 (USB 3.0) performance. This essentially means, that the 2TB Data-Traveler flash drive can store up to 70 hours of 4K video, 96 average-sized PC games, 256000 24-megapixel images, 166 HD movies and 531,344 MP3 songs. Theoretically, the flash drive offers a transfer speed of a whopping 5Gbps.
It is built out of a zinc-alloy metal casing for shock resistance, and features a similar and  sleeker design to the Data-Traveler HyperX Predator 512GB and 1TB flash drives introduced in 2013. It is compact with dimensions of 72mm x 26.94mm x 21mm.

Kingston says that it will start shipping Data-Traveler Ultimate GT in February and will be available in 1TB and 2TB capacities. Kingston is yet  to reveal the pricing for Data-Traveler but of course, it is expected to be pretty expensive considering the fact that each Data-Traveler will be backed by a 5-year warranty and free tech support.

The all new Kingston’s 3-inch 2TB pen-drive will usher in a time when the capacity of USB flash drive will only have capacity range  in TB's alone.
Already, most laptops sold today have a hard disk of up to 1TB capacity.

Facebook : See Way To Prevent Hackers From Hacking your Account

Yes, I'm most certain that your Facebook account or that of someone close to you must have been hacking at least once. Recently, pornographic materials have found their way to the walls and posts of Facebook users without their permission consent or knowledge.

Almost everyday, hackers changes their pattern of hacking Facebook accounts, this is quite worrisome as most people have private data in their Facebook account, important contacts, photos and videos(you dont want to lose and/or expose these things to a hacker).

Facebook is a very secure platform, hackers only get the opportunity given to them by you, if you say “No” it will remain No.What I really mean by this; Facebook has very good security features, and the only thing needed to make your Facebook account totally secure is turning those security features on. I know how you’ll feel losing important stuffs in your Facebook account(yes I do know, I have experienced data loss and know how that can bring down people in their different daily activities), and for all I know, its really not a good one to experience.

Today, I will be writing on how to prevent hackers from hacking your Facebook account through phishing attack.

Always Check URLs You click thoroughly
Hackers now hack people’s Facebook account through a method known as Phishing Attacks(a very dangerous hacking technique). Phishing attacks are one of the widely used method in hacking a Facebook account, this usually involves a process where the hacker designs a website looking almost exactly like Facebook
(yeah, not exactly but almost exactly. Just a little difference), the hacker will then send you the link to that site with some amazing claims, that will make you click on the link.

After clicking on that link, you find out that the page you landed, requires your Facebook login details like email and password, you might feel its Facebook requesting for those details but to tell you the truth, Facebook doesn’t even know about such thing.

Waw! Only 50 Engineers Manage WhatsApp's 900 Million Users

WhatsApp CEO Jan Koum recently announced on his Facebook page that his company’s instant messaging service is currently used by more than 900 million users worldwide.

This milestone he said,  was achieved with just a small team. At the time of acquisition by Facebook, it had a group of 35 designers and more than 450 clients. Due to the rise in the quantity of WhatApp clients, the designing staff currently consists of 50 architects that runs things naturally.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg quickly reacted to the posts congratulating him and his team.

Facebook is the owner of WhatsApp, as Zuckerberg and company had paid $19 billion to take over the startup more than a year back, suggesting that they now run three of the most predominant web applications. Facebook is used by more than 1.5 billion individuals across the globe, while Facebook’s Messenger, an instant messaging service spans 700 million. In such a scenario, the 900 million-user milestone is a huge achievement for WhatsApp, as it not a product of the powerful Facebook.

One of the interesting fact is that WhatApp achieved this milestone with just a small team. At the time of acquisition by Facebook, it had a group of 35 designers and more than 450 clients. Due to the rise in the quantity of WhatApp clients, the designing staff currently consists of 50 architects that runs things naturally.Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg quickly reacted with two posts, of which one said “congratulations,” and the other said “Here’s an activity shot of you composing this upgrade,” which referred to a picture of Koum keying his 900-million-client post into a cell phone.

Have You Heard? Facebook is Working On A Dislike Button!

Facebook Guru and CEO, Mark Zuckerberg has announced that Facebook is working on a Dislike button which will be tested soon. Zuckerberg made this announced at a Q&A session at Facebook Headquarters, saying that the Dislike button is the social networking website’s long rumored and one of the most requested features.

“I think people have asked about the dislike button for many years. Today is a special day because today is the day I can say we’re working on it and shipping it,”
Zuckerberg said.

Though in the past Zuckerberg dismissed the idea, saying it was an idea too negative, people (users) have continued to push and disturb for the button for too many years which prompts his company to release the feature. He hoped that the button won’t be used for showing negative emotions, instead it will be used for expressing empathy.

Zuckerberg said that he didn’t implement the idea earlier as he didn’t want Facebook to develop a Reddit-style system of down-voting and up-voting.
“What they really want is the ability to express empathy. Not every moment is a good moment,”
 He said.
