Interesting! Nice Babysiting Apps!

If you want to spare your family the hassle of sibling fights, travel tantrums and several rounds of “Are we there yet?” when traveling, then you need plenty of boredom busters  beyond the usual movies and music before you head out the door.

Fruit Ninja — It’s been around since 2010, but there’s a reason Fruit Ninja endures. The game is quick to learn, easy to play and difficult to master. And it’s more feature packed than ever after the recent fifth anniversary update. With a two-player mode option, it’s a good fit for siblings who share a tablet between them on the trip.

Balloonimals Babies — The sequel to IDEO’s Balloonimals is perfectly suited to keep the youngest passengers occupied for a long stretch. Kids can inflate the balloons, listen to the twisting squeaks of the digital latex and then enjoy their creations from playtime to pop-time.
Ages 2-5

Toca Nature — Kids build worlds of their own in Toca Nature. After making lakes, erecting mountains and planting forests (all with simple swipes), they’re able to explore the environments and visit the animals that inhabit them.
Ages 4-7

Minecraft: Pocket Edition — For children craving more complexity, control and far more interactivity in their world-builder games, Minecraft: Pocket Edition is the way to go. While it lacks many of the features fans of the console and PC versions are used to, it’s engrossing enough to excuse the premium price.
Ages 6 and up

King of Opera — Here’s a tablet app that can keep up to four players occupied in a battle for the singing spotlight. Warning parents: Headphones aren’t really an option for the multiplayer operatic action, so if total peace and quiet is what you’re looking for, this one might not be the best fit.
