WAW! 1 Billion People Used Facebook in 24 Hrs On Monday!

For the first time ever, a mind-blowing 1 billion people used Facebook in one day on Monday 24th August 2016.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg revealed the milestone in a Facebook post Thursday afternoon, pointing out that number is the equivalent of one in seven people on Earth who signed on to check out the social network over the course of 24 hours.

Since Zuckerberg created Facebook in his Harvard dorm room in 2004, the social network has become the second most-trafficked website in the U.S. and worldwide. The social network currently reports 1.49 billion monthly active users, which means that about 2/3 of its entire userbase logged on some time Monday.
